Macro Responds to EPA Digital Services RFI

Macro Solutions submitted a sample project response with working code to the EPA Digital Services request. Our approach included working code creation based on our experience at FDIC supporting a portfolio of over 30 custom applications on a variety of platforms including the implementation of agile adoption methods and technical support for an IT organization of over 400 support personnel. We also included code and instruction outlines with instructions to execute the solution for our project, all stored in Github.

Macro Solutions’ selected the “OhioEPA Algae Bloom” concept detailed on the EPA’s Developer Central, Application ideas website to demonstrate our approach to rapidly deliver working products to support “User Reporting” or Algae Blooms.

The team commenced a Sprint 0 assigning project roles, team norms and critically the definition of project completeness. The following graphic details the project’s sprint definitions.
