Macro Solutions Awarded Prime Contract With U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division to Deliver Data Visualization and Analytics Services

Company wins multi-year contract to drive performance reporting for improved decision-making and program success.

 

Washington, D.C. – December 13, 2023

Macro Solutions, an established strategic IT and business management consulting firm, announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year prime contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Transatlantic Division to deliver enhanced data visibility and reporting capabilities to support consistency and improved decision quality.

Over the course of the contract’s base period, Macro Solutions will work closely with the USACE Transatlantic Division Contracting Officer to leverage Microsoft Power BI software and create a secure dashboard environment for the visualization and analysis of data across USACE’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, SharePoint, other SQL databases. The dashboard will enable USACE teams to consider data collected at the district, division, and enterprise levels when assessing program and project performance. In addition to the dashboard, Macro Solutions will provide further support by developing enhanced reporting protocols to drive consistency and strengthen data quality.

The USACE Transatlantic Division supports the U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, and other national and international security partners.  Macro Solutions’  is tasked to develop a data visualization dashboard on the USACE Transatlantic Division platforms to aggregate data from reports to the project boards and advisory committees. The additional context afforded by the dashboard will enable the USACE Transatlantic Division to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of mission-critical projects.

With the development of the contract’s deliverables underway, Macro Solutions will deliver the reports and dashboard by July 2024. Upon completion of the base contract, Macro Solutions will continue to work with the USACE Transatlantic Division through option periods for sustainment and further enhancements to the reports, visualizations, and dashboard, such as automating data collection processes through 2028.
