Macro Solutions CEO Amy Wright Named Executive of the Year Finalist for the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards

Washington, D.C. – September 29, 2016 – Macro Solutions, an established leader in the delivery of strategic IT and management consulting, today announced that CEO Amy Wright has been selected as a finalist for the Executive of the Year (less than 75 million) category for the 14th annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards.

Wright founded Macro Solutions, along with her brother, in 2000 with the goal of building the type of business that they would want to work for. In 2015, Macro’s revenue grew 41 percent over the previous year and the company was named on of DC’s fastest growing companies. Wright promotes a culture of community service throughout Macro and she herself currently serves on the board of three organizations: University of Virginia Alumni Board of Managers, DC BUILD Board of Advisors, and Americana Music Association Board.

The awards, which are presented by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council, honor innovative companies, industry heavyweights and long-time pillars in the government contracting community for their commitment to excellence and role shaping the marketplace. The winners of the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards will be announced at a dinner on November 1, 2016 at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner.
