Macro Solutions CEO Amy Wright to Speak at the Greater Memphis IT Council Women in Tech Talks

WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 20, 2017 – Macro Solutions, an established leader in the delivery of strategic IT and management consulting, today announced that CEO Amy Wright will be speaking on a panel focusing on female tech entrepreneurs. The Women in Tech Talks event, which is presented by the Greater Memphis IT Council, will bring together female leaders in the tech sector for a conversation on leadership, entrepreneurship and education. As a female business owner, Wright, who has a home in Memphis, leads one of the fastest growing IT and management consulting firms in the Washington, D.C.-area.

Wright founded Macro Solutions, along with her brother, in 2000 with the goal of building the type of business that they would want to work for. In 2016, Macro’s revenue grew 152 percent over the previous three years and the company was named one of America’s fastest growing companies.  Wright promotes a culture of community service throughout Macro and she herself currently serves on the board of three organizations: University of Virginia Alumni Board of Managers, DC BUILD Board of Advisors, and Americana Music Association Board.

The event is planned for Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the ServiceMaster Innovation Center.  Aimed towards building a center of excellence for information technology in greater Memphis, the Greater Memphis IT Council is a division of the Greater Memphis Chamber.  It is presenting the Women in Tech Talk events to celebrate women in the industry and spur support and cooperation among its members.
