Macro Solutions Receives ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 Certification for IT Service Management System
Latest achievement marks third major IT certification the company has received in the last 3 months
Washington, D.C – October 6, 2016 – Macro Solutions, an established leader in the delivery of strategic IT and management consulting, announced today that it has received ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 certification for its IT Service Management (ITSM) system. The certification validates the quality and effectiveness of the company’s planning, support, and delivery of ITSMs to its customers.
The ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 is the international best practice standard for ITSM, and it measures and evaluates how well service providers plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain, and improve an ITSM. Macro Solutions’ ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 certification is the result of meeting a number of requirements that includes successful implementation of documentation and records management; commitment to customer needs; and establishment of well-defined policy, planning, and implementation.

The company recently received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 9001:2015 certification and last August it was assessed at CMMI Maturity Level 3 for both Development and Services.
