Todd Hager Spreads the Word About RPA

On April 25th, 2019, the annual UiPath Together DC conference was held at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC. The conference featured a competition between agencies that have RPA efforts underway. As Chair of the ACT-IAC Emerging Technology Community of Interest, UiPath asked Todd Hager to convene a panel of Intelligent Automation team members to help judge the competition. This included Macro Solutions’ very own Joe Savukas and Damanjit Padam, joined by Jaideep Ganjuli of Fusion Applied. The goal of the competition was to show what can be done with a team in a day. A process, selected because it has cross-agency impact, was provided to the teams the morning of the “Process-a-Thon” along with process diagrams, business rules and a test data set. At the end of the conference Todd Hager presented awards to three winners from the main stage.

After the event, Todd Hager sat down with Francis Rose of Government Matters to discuss how agencies can use RPA to optimize efficiency. This discussion is titled “RPA: Powering Governments Digital Transformation”, presented by UiPath and was aired on WJLA 24/7 News. You can find the link to this fascinating discussion here.  (Todd’s segment starts at 11:09)
